Steve Adams – President

Steve Adams served as dean of the College of Business at California State University, Chico and has over 25 years experience as business professor. Dr. Adams, a CPA (inactive) and CMA, was employed by Babcock and Wilcox before entering academia and has served as a consultant for a number of large and small organizations, including IBM, KPMG, Wickes Cos., Spectra Physics, and the State of California. Dr. Adams received Ph.D. and MBA degrees from the University of Cincinnati, as well as a BS degree in Business from Miami University.

Lorraine Gardiner - Chief Technology Officer

Dr. Gardiner has overseen the Student Tracking, Evaluation and Portfolio System (STEPS) project at CSU, Chico since its inception in Fall 2002. She received her Ph.D. in management science from the University of Georgia and has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in information systems, management science, statistics, project management and quality assurance for over 20 years. Her research and consulting experience includes involvement in information systems projects at Hughes Aircraft Company, Flexel, Inc. and TSYS.

Gail Corbitt – Vice-President of Marketing

Gail Corbitt is a professor at CSU Chico where she is currently the Department Chair of Accounting and MIS and coordinator for Business Information Systems assessment. Her teaching specialty is software development and ERP systems and includes 19 years in the California State University system. Her Ph.D. in Management Information Systems is from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Gail has over 15 years of experience working in systems environments plus several consulting engagements that have offered students real world experience or research opportunities. Areas of research and/or consulting include SAP/ERP implementation, Business Process Redesign, and collaborative group technology. Gail has worked for several organizations including Hewlett Packard, Chevron, U.S. Navy, Intel, BASF, Simpson Paper Company, California Prison Authority, and the Huber Company. She had faculty internships at both Chevron and Hewlett Packard where she worked on SAP implementation projects. She was an SAP Distinguished Scholar for 3 years and currently serves on the Advisory Boards for the SAP Academic Alliance in the Americas and for International Programs.

Tom Wilder – Vice-President of Operations

Tom Wilder is a lecturer at CSU Chico in the College of Business, Department of Accounting and Management Information Systems. His primary teaching area is Production and Operations Management and Supply Chain Management. Additionally he teaches Introductory to Business and Management Information Systems courses. Tom received his undergraduate degree in Industrial Technology and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from CSU, Chico. Prior to his teaching career, Tom was the General Manger at a manufacturing company, overseeing three separate entities.
