About Us

STEPS for Assessment, Inc provides web-based interactive software to support all aspects of the assurance of learning process. STEPS software provides an organized repository for all assessment information and data, as well as allowing easy analysis and reporting of assessment data. STEPS is a partnership between California State University, Chico and STEPS for Assessment, Inc. CSU, Chico faculty, students, and graduates developed the software and provide the development, maintenance, help desk, and hosting functions under contract with STEPS for Assessment, Inc. CSU, Chico also receives significant royalties from each sale. In addition to providing the capital investment, STEPS for Assessment, Inc. handles all marketing and operations.

Our mission is to provide innovative software supporting all aspects of assessment and assurance of learning, while enhancing the educational programs in the CSU, Chico College of Business.
